In case you missed it, Apple announced the iPhone 4S. There were outcries of disappointment from the Apple fan base because this device was not called iPhone 5. I would argue this upgrade is in fact a big upgrade to the handset in the places where it counts most: the CPU, internal memory, and GPU.
